This global powerhouse are establishing themselves in the UK with an already impressive customer base and as such are requiring an individual that can work autonomously in setting up initial UK procurement processes and procedures.
Key responsibilities in the role:
-Setting up procurement procedures & controls for the first time
-Assessing potential suppliers
-On-boarding new suppliers
-Working closely with finance to ensure PO process is robust and appropriate documentation is in place
-Establishing a suite of reports to aid commercial decision making
-Procurement Operations/Processing duties to include, payments, POs, reconciliations
Applicants should have 3-5 years procurement experience and will have ideally worked in a start-up/greenfield environment. Procurement Ops experience is essential.
Initial 12 month contract although extremely likely this will extend as the scope of the role becomes more complex.
Must be comfortable working autonomously as the role will initially report into the US.
