Purpose of the role
-Serve as medical & scientific point of reference for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders
-Serve as a final compliance sign off within therapy area and key products, ensuring compliance & the ABPI Code of Practice
-Offer professional expertise, leadership and training internally from the Signatory perspective

Key responsibilities

-Lead on development of quality medical and scientific education and training across business area functions within TA of responsibility
-Project manage the development and delivery of medical educational initiatives for HCPs.
- Proactively develop, and maintain relations with key customers within UK and Ireland
-Contribute to the planning and tactical execution of the UK and Global medico-marketing strategy across the Biopharma product portfolio.
-Lead on collaboration between the medical team and all key internal stakeholders
-Develop & facilitate advisory boards
-Provide relevant medical support for the Clinical operations team
-Facilitate the delivery of the Biopharma publication plan.
-Provide cross-functional therapeutic and product expertise to internal and external clients
-Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the therapy areas by reviewing the literature, through KOL relationships, creation and attendance of the scientific congresses, and symposia
-Work closely with Global Medical Affairs, and Region Europe Medical Affairs to ensure strategic alignment and best practices sharing
-ABPI Sign off on all materials as a final signatory (Sr. Medical Adviser)


Education and Experience requirements

Qualification:
UK registered Pharmacist or Medical degree eligible for GMC registration
ABPI signatory qualified (for Sr. Medical Adviser)

Work experience
Experience in Endocrinology in particular growth hormone therapy areas (essential)
Proven experience working within the Pharmaceutical Industry as a medical advisor or equivalent (preferred)
Final Signatory experience (desirable)

Technical Skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
Knowledge of GCP, clinical trial methodology
Excellent presentation and teaching skills
Project management skills
Recognised as expert in endocrinology TA by internal and external stakeholders
