Support Engineer
Location: Zaventem
Contract duration: 1 year

For one of our clients, specialised in the automotive sector, we are now looking for a First Line Support Engineer profile to start as soon as possible.
The customer has a real a start-up mind-set and promotes work autonomy and evolution perspectives.
What will be your main responsibilities?

Respond to incoming inquiries and requests from customers and manage progress until closure

Checking system infrastructure and services and troubleshooting where necessary
-
Documentation and escalation to 2nd line support team where necessary in all activities
-
Management of user accounts and access policies
-
Announcements to users
-
Correspondence for emergency troubleshoot and high-priority requests - attend out-of-hours call-out where necessary

Documentation and information management
-
Management of IT information (inventory of hardware, software, licenses…)

Creating and updating of internal operation documents and flow charts
-
Analyse the current situation and identify gaps and best practice improvements
Your profile:

You have an IT degree
-
You are fluent in English
-
You are comfortable with dealing onsite (face to face) troubleshooting

You have experience in working for large multicultural international environments

Strong problem-solving, organization, and analytical skills
-
Passionate about IT and new technologies

Excellent communication skills - with end-users and IT team

Aptitude to work both in a team and individually

Proactive approach to gaps and problem identification
Mandatory technical skills:

Administration of Microsoft Office 365 environment

Good knowledge about network

End-users environment support:

Windows 10, MacOS, MS Office suite, printers, mobile phone, tablet

Desktop support - PC hardware and software, installations and maintenance

Support of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Administration of Active Directory

Windows Server 2012R2 and 2008R2 - server monitoring, maintenance, and backups

Networking concepts and troubleshooting capabilities

Analysis and documentation of IT processes, workflows, and manuals
