We are looking for a Solutions Architect to work at the leading edge of technology.

Job Profile
Translating customer user requirements into technical solutions
Provide advice and guidance to payload suppliers on optimal integration solution for a platform
Working with customers and suppliers provide technical summaries on the platform and payload capabilities
Provide input into the payload development strategy and roadmaps
To ensure the stakeholders clearly understand the requirements for the and the capabilities of the payloads
To liaise with the other subsystems teams such as power and propulsion to ensure that the best overall solution for the system is being implemented
To manage the integration of payloads
Ensures the (PA), design and verification standards are met
Qualifications / Experience
Some of the following experience/skills are anticipated
Familiarity with engineering methodologies for harsh environments
Technical ability / familiarity with some of the following payload types
oRF communications,
oOptical and IF surveillance
oESM and Sigint
oData communications
Sales and marketing support Customer facing skills
Development of working procedure compatible with regulatory approval
Production of documentation including Test Plans, Test Schedules
Liaising with the software developers and hardware engineers to identify / resolve anomalous behaviour
Strong communication skills to engage with management & technical colleagues
Ability to work to demanding time-scales
A familiarity with the configuration control tools and code configuration strategies
Subcontractor management
Sales and marketing support Customer facing skills
Production of documentation including Test Plans, Test Schedules
Liaising with the software developers and hardware engineers to identify / resolve anomalous behaviour
Strong communication skills to engage with management & technical colleagues
Ability to work to demanding time-scales
A familiarity with the configuration control tools and code configuration strategies
The successful candidate will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role.
This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
