VOLT are currently partnered with a client in Hertfordshire, who are looking to make a real difference in the in the Cell & Gene Space.

Currently, our client is establishing a new manufacturing team that is responsible for the technology transfer and manufacturing of its pioneering immunotherapy products. If you have experience within GMP Manufacturing, this could be an exceptional new opportunity to be involved in.

This unique opportunity allows you be play a role in the set-up and execution of a new manufacturing operation as well as supporting process development and manufacturing scale activities. Furthermore, this individual must have experience of executing cell and gene therapy manufacturing processes in an aseptic cleanroom environment.

Some of your responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Leading/supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations including: Equipment maintenance & calibration, stock management and supply chain.

  • Generating batch records for the manufacture and test of products.

  • Support the Manufacturing facility and licencing including; validation documentation and writing/reviewing SOPs.

  • Performing aseptic manufacturing processes in a GMP cleanroom environment.

  • Support the design of robust, scalable, cost effective manufacturing processes for novel immunotherapies.

  • You will be able to mentor junior staff where guidance is needed.

 

You will need the following expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills

  • Experience in performing cell/gene therapy manufacturing

  • Good working knowledge of EU GMP
