Position Description:
We are currently partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company who are looking for a Scrum Master. This person will report into the, Head of Software Delivery, Database and Middleware Team Lead, Web Team Lead, Head of Testing and Software Support, Head of UX, Product Managers, Other members of the wider team as required in order to bring an Agile mindset to software delivery structures.

This specialist firm took private equity a couple of years ago, over £5 million and this was used to revamp the services to clients.

The SaaS based business. They have two platforms, one which is a market insight to the pharmaceutical companies marketed product and pipeline. The second being a software that enables companies to run a virtual drug development trial to see the outcome and also see potential hiccups the company could encounter during the drug development lifecycle, this is based on other marketed products and their journey to market.
People

*Work with the above team to author and inculcate an Agile process within the business and then
Day to day management of that process for the SD team
*Lead and coach staff in Agile methodology
*Create a positive working environment for the team
*Work closely with the following roles in order to manage delivery of high quality software

*Head of Software Delivery
*Database and Middleware Team Lead
*Web Team Lead
*Head of Testing and Software Support

Process
*Bring best practise for helping the wider team convert to an Agile way of working
*Provide up-to-date and relevant software development practices aligned to department strategy
*Continuously improve software development processes, directly and indirectly, aligned to department strategy
*Reporting on all aspects of software development progress as required

Software Development
*Have a flexible and wide ranging approach to the role.
*Determine operational feasibility by working with the wider team to evaluate analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
*Communicate progress to Head of Software Delivery, and the wider business team.

Department
*Contribute to department performance
*Contribute to budget management

Working Conditions:
Will work in an office environment. Travel to London office will be necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
Desired Qualifications:

Personal
*7 years of relevant and varied experience
*Experience of Agile project management
*Experience of implementing and improving a software development process
*Experience of building teams of people and of creating and dismantling project teams

Additional Qualifications:
*Scrum (or other Agile discipline) qualification desirable
