Context
For one of our clients, specialised in the telecommunications industry and based in Brussels is looking for a passionate Oracle Database Developer & Administrator who will have a key role in the organisation, as Oracle domain specialist.

Your Responsibilities:
As Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:
·Providing guidance and solutions to the different application development teams during the development lifecycle involving following activities:
oPL/SQL programming
oERD realisation and validation (3NF modelling)
oQuery tuning (xplain, trace, …)
oDB tuning (ASH, AWR, Advisor, DB parameters,… )
oWriting complex queries (also recursive queries and hierarchical queries)
oArchitectural solution
oSecurity model (also GDPR)
oData workflow analysis
oProvide high value technical solutions in Oracle for specific problems
oTest and Validation through proof of concept
·Assure daily DBA operational activities covering:
oDaily Monitoring
oDay to day DBA tasks (import/export, space management -TBS - ASM, problem solving, ACL, Schema management, security, session, promotion management, application migration to an other db, …)
oMaking the link between the projects and the DBA'S operational team
oMaintenance of monitoring tools
oDB installation and configuration
oTechnical lead on DB upgrades and migration
·Be the first technical support in the scope of the projects and in operations
Your Profile:
You are a specialist of the Oracle domain covering both Oracle administration and Senior Oracle developer aspects.
·You have a master degree in computer science and at least 10 years of relevant experience as DBA and/or DB developer;
·You're passionate about technology;
·You're a fast and eager learner;
·Languages : English (very good in reading, writing, speaking) is a must.
