I am currently partnering with a Global manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Prototype Machinist on an initial 12 month contract.
This is an important role that involves the manufacture of high specification prototype components to tight timescales. Therefore the ability to work to engineers instructions and drawings, use your initiative and work with the appropriate people to resolve issues is essential.
Duties will include:
Set-up and operation of various jigs and fixtures
Operation of manual machines - including manual lathes, vertical/horizontal mills, band saws, grinding and other related equipment and tooling
Experience with the use of related measuring equipment and tooling
CNC/3D printing experience would be advantageous
