My client has a broad pipeline with one clinical trial ongoing and two more coming in 2019/20 which allows more opportunities to change lives of patients by focusing on gene therapy with the aim to provide therapies for diseases with significant unmet patient needs.



This opportunity will allow you to be involved in establishment and the operations of a GMP manufacturing facility to ensure on time delivery of products for clinical supply. You will play a vital role GMP manufacturing department supporting Investigations and deviations.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Must understand protocols and follow SOPs to execute GMP operations such as setting up equipment, performing testing, transfer of materials into and out of the modules, commissioning, equipment maintenance and material/equipment cleaning to support manufacture.

  • In addition, you will be required to work closely with supply chain/warehouse department, liaising with Scheduler to perform successful transfer of waste/samples/materials into and out clean room (Grade C) which must be followed due to the production plan and daily BOM. Must ensure materials are delivered on time to the facility and are released and ready for use in GMP manufacturing.

  • Moreover, must have a key eye for detail allowing you to identify issues/errors/unexpected findings as they occur and must be reported to senior management.

  • Work closely with GMP Operations Manager in the production scheduling, booking service visits for equipment E.g. planned equipment maintenance.

  • To communicate closely with Quality department due to scheduling routine monthly EM.

  • To be responsible for guaranteeing daily BOMs during manufacture that are detailed and accurate while working with the GMP department.

  • Furthermore, you will be in charge of informing for scheduler of tasks such as equipment movement, visiting contractors, waste removal, material transfer, out of hours support etc.


Experience & skills

  • Working in a GMP Production environment

  • Planning of tasks to support manufacture

  • Familiar with working in a GMP support role

  • Hands experience with working in GMP clean rooms
