Our client is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their friendly team in Warwickshire. They empower better experiences and enable access to the highest-quality shared and self-care therapies. Now they are looking for someone to contribute to the design and implementation of their software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of effective documental stack, satisfying applicable norms, standards and internal QMS
- Production of fully implemented and successfully tested software functionalities, covering all the required steps of the software development life-cycle
- Rapid resolution of anomalies in conjunction with other team members
- Support triaging process for prioritisation and characterisations in anomalies with a multi-disciplinary approach
- Facilitate trend analysis to identify priorities in problem resolution plan
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree
- 2 years experience designing and implementing software for complex and safety critical systems
- Knowledge of Real-Time programming principles and Real-Time Operating Systems
- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, C#)
- Knowledge of Software developments environment toolchairs and techniques for creating, debugging, maintaining software either new or legacy for microcontrollers and microprocessors
Desirable:
- Knowledge of "IEC 62304 medical device software - software life-cycle process" standard and experience in applying the full stack development life-cycles process
- Familiar with Agile/SCRUM based software delivery methodologies
- Understanding of using issue tracking systems and software version control
- Understanding of Object-Oriented modelling and programming concepts including UML to effectively understand, document and share Software design across teams and relevant stakeholders
- Ability to configure and maintain complex build systems
