Delivery Manager

Role Summary:

The Delivery Manager is a pivotal part of the services organisation, who owns the project's Delivery Model and is the Technical Leader on the Project.

Essential Responsibilities:

*Performing and managing the deployment of interacting complex enterprise software and software dependencies.
*End-to-end responsibility on the Software Delivery part of projects to meet the schedule, cost and quality commitments.
*Good knowledge of IT infrastructures (e.g. High Performance Storage Systems, or IT Networks, or OS/VM environments)
*Share responsibility with the Project Manager (PM), through close coordination, for scope management (change requests assessment), risk management and problem management
*Trigger and validate engineering Gate Reviews (Solution, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness)In collaboration with industry standard

Methods & Tools

*Implement software delivery performance measurement indicators
*Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement and change management to implement competitiveness improvement initiatives (costs base reduction, lead time reduction, productivity improvement, quality improvement…)In collaboration with Tendering
*Assist tendering with the validation of the delivery model and estimations in coordination with the Regional Operations team and the Global Workforce Manager.
*Validate the Scope review at Tendering stage in coordination with the Solution Design team In collaboration with Maintenance & Support
*Ensure a smooth transfer to maintenance of ending projects through coordinated knowledge transfer.

Customer Management

*Delivery Manager may be requested by the Project Manager, who owns the Customer relationship, to contribute to Customer management activities
*Comply and contribute to elaboration of relevant Quality Procedures, work instructions and Processes in Quality Management System
*Report or resolve any process non-conformances in a timely manner

Health and Safety

*Demonstrate EHS leadership and ensure Zero Deviation Plan is implemented in their area of responsibility
*Sets the example as a role model, by demonstrating the proper acts and actively observes work conditions.
*Actively participates in defining corrective actions when work is unsafe or when an uncontrolled risk is observed.
*Routinely observes routines and behaviours of others and provides immediate feedback regarding unsafe behaviour and celebrates achievements or safe behaviours.
*Actively and routinely promotes the identification of hazards and near misses
*Ensure that all staff have done their mandatory EHS training
*Demonstrates and encourages positive, customer focus with a 'can do' attitude

Qualifications/Requirements:

*Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Services).Ideal subjects: Computer Science, IT Networking, Software Development
*Proven experience in Services - Software Commissioning.Performance Measurement
*On Time Delivery
*Costs deviation + Committed budget (effort) deviation
*Software Delivery Processes Compliance
*Customer Satisfaction Travel - Subject to project demands, candidate would need to travel extensively during busy periods of the project, both internally and outside of UK
