A market leading Pharmaceutical company based in Surrey has the opportunity for a Portfolio Manager with ideally a Pharma background and CRM experience (ideally Veeva/Salesforce but other CRM's will suffice) on an initial 12 month contract.
·Manage the Customer Engagement Project Portfolio: Provide oversight and guidance to all in-flight projects in the portfolio, including mapping dependencies and managing risks and issues.
·Actively pursue the resolution of often complex issues preventing the delivery of projects and programmes to ensure project outcomes can be achieved and benefits realised.
·Oversight of all project budgets within the Customer Engagement Project Portfolio
·Work closely with Business Relationship Managers to facilitate hand over of approved demand into delivery.
·Act as the delivery expert for the department and able to challenge processes where appropriate.
·Work closely with Application Managers to ensure appropriate design and functionality is deployed.
·Work closely with Service Delivery Management and 3rd party suppliers to ensure smooth transition into operations and Business-as-Usual.
·Escalate issues appropriately and with the relevant teams or individuals.
·Provide quality assurance to project plans, documentation, delivery approaches, communication plans, project budgets and other key project artefacts.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
·Life sciences / Pharmaceutical sector experience (or any other highly regulated industry) Exposure to working in a regulated industry and the related compliance frameworks.
·Experience with CRM, preferably Veeva / SalesForce.
·Programme or Portfolio Management experience, preferably with software and/or cloud experience, with track record of delivery.
·Experienced in managing project budgets and forecasts.
·Experienced in managing multiple 3rd party suppliers providing various services.
