The role is with a London-based startup developing breakthrough solutions for the next generation of spatially aware devices by harnessing sensor fusion and the latest advancements in cameras and processors.

Responsibilities:

*You would develop high-performance software in the area of embedded computer vision and robotics;
*Implement new, sophisticated computer vision algorithms on computationally limited platforms;
*Maintain and optimise the performance of the existing codebase, porting to the new computational platform;
*Support our Product and R&D teams.

Requirements:

*Experience in C++ programming and software development;
*Experience working with a sophisticated codebase and performing software optimisation;
*You will believe that very high code quality, performance, simplicity and maintainability is essential;
*Experience in writing production-level code;
*Experience with Linux is a plus;
*A proud problem solver who is able to work independently and with minimal supervision;
*Comfortable and excited about working in a dynamic, agile, startup environment;
*Be willing to learn and gain experience in embedded real-time image processing, computer vision, machine learning, computer graphics or robotics applications, or you might already have experience in these areas!
*Experience with open-source libraries e.g. OpenCV, Eigen, Ceres is a plus.
