Description

  • We are currently looking for a total productive maintenance technician based within the Atherstone plant. This position will report into Operations leadership team. This is a development role where you can be instrumental in establishing and supporting the site TPM deployment program.

  • As a TPM Technician will deliver and sustain business objectives through providing engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) expertise to maintain equipment / systems, resolving problems and implementing improvements.


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness levels

  • Ability to work closely with production and engineering teams

  • To be flexible across mechanical and electrical disciplines

  • Assisting in the critically assessments of equipment working in conjunction with Manufacturing Technology and Operational teams.

  • Development and closure of maintenance tasks designed to improve machine condition to original standard.

  • Focused improvement maintenance tasks to realise benefits prioritised by MT/TPM Leader

  • Creation and delivering of SPL's to sustain condition via asset care programs

  • Daily review and management of Tier 1 actions highlighted by the machine Operators

  • Carrying out systematic fault-finding on all plant machinery and ancillary equipment

  • Asset care auditing to ensure conformance and identify improvements

  • Ensuring work is carried out in compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and company policies and procedures

  • Skills, experience and key capabilities

  • Engineering qualification desirable and experience of working in a maintenance department ideally in a manufacturing environment

  • I.T Literate -Windows, Spreadsheets and Microsoft Office

  • Effective communicator at all levels and able to build effective working relationships

  • Self-starter with a proactive Can-do attitude, able to work under own initiative and able to guide and coach team members in new ways of working

  • A solid understanding of problem solving techniques and strong analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance and condition monitoring techniques
