A market leading Pharma company based in Surrey has the opportunity for a Test Programme Manager with experience of testing in a regulated/validated environment, ideally Pharmaceutical. You will also have worked with large project teams across multiple global locations. The client really needs a Programme Test Manager/ Lead who has several years' experience in the role, not a technical test manager or a testing work stream lead who wants to step up. A combination of technical knowledge and soft skills is also needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
·Programme test lead / test manager who has led testing on a programme of this size. Not someone who has only led a testing workstream or has worked as part of a team of test managers
·Good mix of technical skills (including validation/regulated systems) and soft skills.
oNeed to know about 'GxP' or 'SIT' mean for example!
oSoft skills are important because the client has a collaborative, networking culture. Candidates need to demonstrate that they understand how to use influencing and negotiation skills to get things done and solve problems. Good listening skills too.
·The ideal candidate will have several years' experience in Pharma or another regulated industry, SAP S/4 HANA in their business areas (P2P, FIN, SCM, O2C), no history of multiple short contracts, has led testing for major programmes but is also prepared to roll up their sleeves and run UAT.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
The Test Lead will have overall accountability for testing. The role will provide leadership for all testing components for business and IT elements of a Global Programme. Third parties will support parts of SIT, UAT and regression testing and the client will manage other parts. The test lead must collaborate with the client and Third Party test leads, ensuring good coordination and overseeing their delivery. The Test Lead is also required to be 'hands on' during UAT, organising and managing the business testers and leading activities not in scope for the third party.
