My Client a major player in the financial world in the city are looking for a Social Media Strategist.


Role Purpose
To implement and execute a social media strategy, including planning, implementing, managing and monitoring in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing and communication efforts and fulfil business and company objectives (within the context of a larger communication strategy).

Job Description

The central communications team is in search of an experienced, fast-moving, creative Social Media Strategist to support the development of the online presence and brand awareness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and roll out of a company-wide social media strategy, taking into account business priorities.
Working closely with the rest of the central communications team, s/he will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the social media accounts as well as staying up-to-date on industry benchmarks and best practices, generating and implementing creative new ideas and concepts, controlled test-and-learn, and generally bringing a creative approach to the online presence.
The Social Media Strategist will work closely with all internal communications and commercial teams and third party agencies and vendors.

Education
Educated to a university level or equivalent experience

Experience

Approximately 5 years of experience as a B2B social media and/or digital marketing manager, preferably within financial services or technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement and manage the SWIFT social media strategy

  2. Define social media KPIs and reporting structure

  3. Oversee social media content in collaboration with content marketing team

  4. Stay up-to-date with latest social media best practices and technologies

  5. Use relevant social media tools

  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholder's and clients, including communications, commercial and business teams

  7. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimisation

  8. Develop and manage a strong online influencer relations programme of industry professionals and influencers
