SERVICENOW - SYSTEMS ADMIN - DEVELOPER

Our client, a Pharma company based in Surrey, has the opportunity for a ServiceNow Systems Administrator / Developer on an initial 6 month contract. This role is not just a Systems Administrator, nor is it a fully blown developer, but there will be aspects of both of these in your work duties. You will also have experience of working in a regulated industry, ideally Pharma.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

* Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform and maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow platform across production and non-production instances
* Provide ServiceNow configuration and customisation assistance including, but not limited to: form tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

·Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library and IT service management and foundation certified
·Moderate ServiceNow System Administration experience in an enterprise environment
·Some knowledge of pharmaceutical business and related business processes
·Some experience in Java, JavaScript, Web Services, AJAX, XML
·Some Knowledge on Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)
·Some working knowledge of relational databases
·Knowledge of COBIT as information system control guiding principles
·Moderate experience working in a matrixed organization together with various suppliers
·Some Experience with IT Service Management, Service Desk, and Change Management processes
·Some work experience across multiple cultures and countries / regions is a plus
·Fluent in written and verbal business English
·University degree is required or vocational
