My client is looking for a Piping Materials Engineer who will be responsible for the specification, selection and design review of piping materials, piping special items, manual valves and insulation systems.
This will include:
- Assisting the Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer for Major projects.
- Technical knowledge of equipment, the engineering of it into process plant and the management of suppliers.
You will have:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent,
- Understanding of the B31.3 design code and supporting ASME component and ASTM material standard.
- Background knowledge of EN 13480 Piping and Material specification.
The role is paying a flexible day rate depending on experience.
