My client is looking for a CCNP Network Engineer to be responsible for providing design, configuration and implementation for Network Segments, Nodes and Customer Installations.
In this role - you really will be involved from inception through to hand over to the customer - so it's a unique opportunity to work on every aspect of the network - from design, through lab work, to installation, commissioning, and hand over.
Main Duties of the Role
·Liaising with customer, design authority, and Project Manager - to ensure all requirements are gathered.
·Creating the design requirements specification
·Development of the design review documentation
·Network Implementation, testing and hand over
Your background may be working for another Network / Service provider. You will have experience of design and implementation of VoIP, MPLS, and IP systems. You will also have previous experience of the design and configuration of Firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
A qualification in Telecoms / Engineering would be beneficial - and CCNP would also be required - though our client will support you in maintaining your Cisco certifications.
