Lead Connection Engineer - Oslo, Norway
My client, one of the largest providers of integrated oilfield products, services and digital solutions, is currently looking for a Lead Connection Engineer to join on a permanent basis during a period of exponential growth within the business. The Lead Connection Engineer shall work with development and delivery of connection systems and should have system focus and ensure that all interfaces and phases are considered when the system is designed.
The Lead Connection engineer will also lead and participate in development work, tenders, FEEDs and project execution work. They will arrange and participate in design reviews and document/drawing review and release as well as work as doc / drawing creator.
Key Job Responsibilities for this position include:

Lead system developments work with other disciplines and ensure that the configuration / design of complete system is optimal.

Lead and participate in FEED and ensure that the FEED proposes a connection system that increases the overall competitiveness of the solution.

Lead and participate in Connection delivery projects, either stand alone or as part of EPC(i) projects. Responsible for the full Connection package or smaller packages within the Connection Scope.

Work with development activities such as CAD modelling and creating documents, either as Creator, Reviewer or Releaser.
Qualifications/Requirements:

BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Marine engineering

Extensive Subsea engineering experience

Experienced with technically leading Connection projects and development of connection systems
The ideal candidate must be highly proactive and results focused with the ability to influence others within the team. They need to have a proven ability to achieve business' targets and good knowledge of ProEngineer / Creo. Candidates must possess computer proficient skills along with a strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
