The Project Manager will manage GIS software implementation projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes within the Asset Management segment. In this role you will utilise your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

The Project Manager will provide delivery execution leadership and bid support for high priority projects impacting both business and customer profitability. This position is responsible for scope, cost, schedule, change and risk management as well as quality and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects.

*Plan and implement projects at various customer work sites in the EURAF region, including the activities of staff and subcontractors
*Primary customer contact for the duration of each project. Management of the commissioning, resolution of specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate
*Ability to effectively manage technical teams and suppliers, across multiple large-scale projects and diverse locations
*Build customer loyalty through project execution excellence and actively promote quality awareness and improvements
*Delivery of complete project to agreed schedule and budget, able to multi-task across simultaneous project deliveries, demonstrating effective reporting, financial control, risk, scope & change management
*Engage at sales bid stage to lead/support the commercial and technical teams, contributing to proposals to ensure that work is assessed, planned, appropriately estimated and a suitable deal is agreed, with appropriate cost and risks identified to maximise margin
*Translate customer needs / requirements into detailed project plans while driving internal execution to meet project targets
Qualifications/Requirements:
*Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent, preferably with strong business experience in an engineering or project management position
*Strong leadership experience managing team of Project Managers.
*Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
*Significant demonstrable project management experience in a global environment dealing with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams in a technical environment, ideally within a utility or telecom segment
*Proven track record to manage and resolve project issues throughout full project lifecycle
*PRINCE2, PMI or PM-BOK certified
*Must be willing to travel 35%
*Delivery of consultancy services/projects for Smallworld, GIS, Mobile and/or Asset Management solution implementations
*GIS, mobile or asset management software product expertise at user business process or technical engineering level
