A market leading Pharmaceutical client based in Surrey has the opportunity for an ARIBA Functional Consultant on an initial 12 month contract.
Key Objectives
* Represent EMEA Procurement globally from a technology best practice perspective, influencing the evolution of procurement systems and ensuring successful Apple P2P implementation as per programme
* Collaborate with peers in Americas and P2P Process Owner to ensure lessons learned taken from Americas Apple implementation and applied as part of EMEA readiness and go-live activity
Skills & Experienced needed:
·Extensive working knowledge of Ariba P2P modules
·A strong candidate will have experience with Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Buyer & GuidedBuy, Ariba InvoicePro and Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP)
·Be able to interact with Procurement - gather requirements.
·Builds effective working relationships quickly
·Can plan work and reliably deliver according to plan
·Adept at problem-solving in a P2P environment
·Proven experience in large scale, complex, multi-cultural environment
·Experience in developing and executing projects across an organisation
·Extensive experience in managing stakeholders on different levels and in different functions

·Proactive member of Ariba user forums and gather best practice information from peers
·Provide training in appropriate modules, such as sourcing, for new starters
·Provide guidance and support on Ariba role assignment
oSupport LSAOs in maintaining user profiles, liaising with IBM and Accenture as required
·Own interface with Aravo/IS (+manage SLAs) and drive solutions with effective feedback to global parties
·Manage Procurement-related systems, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and available for business use:

·Continually develop Procurement systems' functionality, including reacting to key supplier technology roadmaps and business requirements
·Collaborate with Procurement Service Delivery Lead/IS and create/maintain Procurement technology roadmap

·Fix system bugs and monitoring supplier patching as and when they occur, liaising with suppliers as required
·Own and drive all IS compliance processes required to be used in the deployment of system upgrades
·Own and drive user acceptance testing and documentation in collaboration with IS colleagues
·Maintain user profiles, liaising with IBM and Accenture as required
·Report and maintain compliance to software license usage
