In this role you will be responsible for:
*Delivery of controls software component of a HVDC system;
*Management of a Scrum team of engineers;
*Liaising with the project manager in order to ensure that your software controls team is on plan.
Requirements:
*Educated to degree level in electrical, electronic engineering or computer science;
*Significant experience in power/energy or similar industry;
*Demonstrable project management experience, ideally with current qualifications in this field;
*Able to speak clearly and concisely and understands the importance of giving consistent information;
*Comfortable in working to tight deadlines, flexible in working times when required and bring a practical approach to solving problems;
*Demonstrable understanding of Software Delivery and Lifecycle;
*Comfortable in managing teams of technical people;
*Practical experience of JIRA;
